A part of h.e. banks + associates since its inception and with over 19 years experience in international lighting design, Claudio is a think tank of creative lighting solutions. His technical prowess combined with fresh design ideas mean original projects individually tailored to each client’s needs.

As a principal, Claudio’s responsibilities include all aspects of the design process, including design development, lighting details and project management through the project completion. His educational background in architecture, along with his experience in the international lighting industry, provides the right balance of technical expertise and innovative solutions.

Claudio has designed lighting for a wide range of domestic and international projects, which vary in size and complexity, and include interior and exterior lighting and controls design, as well as custom luminaire design. His project experience includes offices, high-end residential, landscape and site lighting, restaurants, shopping malls, retail stores, hotels, hospitals and laboratories. He is constantly looking for a better way to do things, and is the mockup master in the office, testing and tweaking new ideas to perfection.

Claudio was born in Brazil and attended Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His international perspective and love of learning continues in his travels and everyday discovery of simple things such as the funny quirks and idiosyncrasies of the English language. His energy and enthusiasm towards his work and friendships are simply said…inspiring and contagious.
