Kristin brings more than eight years of professional lighting design experience to the h.e. banks + associates team.  Prior to coming on board, she worked with another well-known San Francisco firm where she gained diverse and valuable experience as a lead lighting designer and project manager on many prominent projects.

As a Principal, Kristin is organized, forward-thinking, very detail-oriented, and passionate about design.  She has a diverse skill set and enjoys the technical, creative, and interpersonal aspects of lighting design.  Kristin thrives on developing innovative lighting solutions and taking on new design challenges, bringing a refreshing energy to her work. Her team specializes in implementing cutting-edge products and controls technology to create environmentally sensitive, yet visually stunning spaces.

Kristin has designed lighting for a wide range of projects varying in size and complexity.  Her project experience includes theaters, wineries, offices, conference centers, high-end residential, site lighting, restaurants, and retail.
